Flying Letcher
, the last time I was in the Islas Malvinas I went for a flight in a SeaKing - it too was flown by a very professional young lady. We landed on HMS Bouncy Castle, whose First Lieutenant turned out to be an ex-ULAS chum!
The detachment's Chinook flight commander was also a very professional young lady. Which only proves that, not only are lady pilots now well established in the RAF, but are also doing very well indeed. As witness Flt Lt Michelle Goodman DFC!
