Seems DTVA's attitude to Private Aircraft is going the same way as Newcastle.
After increasing the landing fees by 30% last year they are again increasing the fees a further 4.5%.
By purchasing a landing card at around £1200/year, it allowed aircraft to land without further charge. They have now decided to restrict this to 50 landings a year. Any landings after the 50 will be invoiced as extras this adding approx a further 10% increase to GA landing fees bringing the increase to 45% in two years.
If private aircraft start moving away due to the increased charges what are air traffic going to do as there isn't enough commercial traffic to keep them awake.
I think you'll see movements at EGNV decrease rapidly if GA move away!!!
