I've been using the
Aviation Theory Centre Manual to prep for the CASA AGK CPL exam and wondering if the manual, or its review answers, is in error.
On page 147 it states that the HI and AI rely on the property of rigidity to provide readings. Which makes sense.
But its answers to review questions on page 156 are at odds with this:
Q 24. The turn indicator uses the gyroscopic property of ... for its function. (the book answer is given as
Rigidity)
Q25. The turn AI and HI use the gyroscopic property of ... for its function (the book answer is given as
Precession)
Can I just take it that the book answers are incorrect?
