it's a shame writing and sub ed standards at the Age have continued to slip to the point where the most basic structure of researching and writing a story are totally discarded.
The Age nonsense does however again highlight the fact that as an industry we are frustrated by media incompetencies but then again as an industry we have generally been slow to correct and change the agenda - so well done QFCapt and a few more of us shouldn't be shy to dash off a line or two before sign on.
PS: What you won't see in the comparitor info panel (the Age USED to do these really well) is the fact that said Age writer's hard earned professional journalistic 'endorsement' in the form a HECS fee (that's if he actually completed the uni course) is significantly less than the spend to gain a CPL at a country aeroclub.
