Agreed, partly. Its not entirely the RAF's fault. But the RAF should have the
PR nous to know that a badly-timed fly-past at an event where fly-past's are a considerable, over-the-top irrelevance is worse than not appearing at all.
They should have had someone in the stadium say 'call it off,' or arranged to do it at halftime, or been stacked to come in earlier, as required.
