Mephistopheles, I was under the exact same impression until the Spanair bid, which from the articles I am reading, Gadair seems to be the top bidder. Interestingly, also noticed a new Gadair counter on the arrivals level of the Bahrain International Airport.
Found this information on an independent website that tracks flight arrivals/departures. Seems like there are regular flights between BAH and MAD-- Gadair was proposing service with Boeing 757's. Anybody notice if these are for real or just computer phantoms?
