Don't forget the Lifestyle stuff is right, as a matter of fact I would do that first. I have a hard time with my weight and my BP is hooked to it, I used to regularly run 140/90 and sometimes higher and I have always been very active, but mostly with work, thinking that that was as good as exercise, not so! I now try to relax more, I still have my Drink, I stopped smoking, I got a Dog and go for almost daily 3 mile walks (marching) and I take 100 mg of Co-enzyme-Q10, also I have learned that drinking a lot of Water is good for you and regularly drink 1 liter for every two hours of flying. I have become a lot more regular since and I can say that I think my body likes getting the Water, my weight has not changed much, but for the last 18 months my BP is around 130/80.
BTW I love to eat, which is the root of my weight problem, I am starting to cut down on Carbs. hoping that this will help me, I also take a good multivitamin a Day.
I hope all this will encourage you to give the non medication route a chance.
Oh, and the other thing: Don't worry about "things" too much, because if you drop dead tommorow, life will go on for everyone else, so even if you don't solve all your problems today, they will be there for you untill you have time to tackle them. Relax!
