This pay rise is about one thing - trying to attract the KA freighter pilots to take up CX's wonderful 'offer'. Since KA had it's pay agreement in December, the KA drivers have been on more than their counterparts in CX.
Unfortunately, the mismanagers pushing this 'offer' (or is it a transfer
) have failed to realise that our concern is not money, but the complete disregard of our seniority policy and dare I say it, UK law.
BTW, I'm not suggesting for one minute that CX freighter crews don't deserve the pay increase. Enjoy it and it might be nice if you spend some of it buying the Dragonair boys a beer when you next see them in the gay bar!
