Does anyone know how other JAR states conduct their colour testing ?
I have an unrestricted class 3 and a restricted class 2; I can fly at night on my PPL but not on my BCPL (CAA medical have confirmed this). With the issue of my BCPL (AFI upgrade) came a letter stating that I haven't met the colour perception standards of the Chicago Convention etc. but that I could challenge the Authority on my case (not the medical results, which I don't argue with, but their treatment of me).
If it would be possible for me to get a class 1 medical in another JAA state, could that be a case of unfair treatment by the CAA?
