Davy07, be careful with the J1 visa requirements, if i remember right, you can't already hold a commercial license, be it FAA, JAA or AusAA!!!
I maybe wrong though...
Bounceral, As for cheap training and hour building, some future potential employer may question a PPL or CPL gained in Pakistan or other similar country, just a thought.
