I'm taking the long view, UK growth has to go somewhere, the larger airfields generally have not got the runway capacity available. I am quite sure the next three years will see new links from the UK regions to DXB and the Gulf. EDI and BRS have to be front runners there. But don't rule out others..
As for the US, open skies will change things dramatically over the next two years. New routes all over the place.
Mr O'Leary may yet show up running a Loco long haul carrier, routes to US and Asia. If he does, you can bet they will operate from 'unusual points' in the UK. With bus services to the capital/cities..
Lets not get distracted though, obviously near term - 1-2 years - growth at BOH will be in the loco arena.... and the long haul leisure charters.
