I was on selection with guys flying CRJ and F100, as well as B737, MD11,B744. So long as you meet the requirements you will get a call.
As to a roadshow, those of us from SA were told of the last one by email so that we could tell our friends. There has been no recent email about SA roadshows.
Basically, they just show you the DVD with some expansion, and then have a Q&A session. It was nice to go to, but did not make up anyone's mind.
If you meet the requirements, apply. The worst that can happen is they can say not yet. Some posters here would argue that the worst they can do is offer you the job!
