You need to lighten up here....they were only fixed wing pilots that got shot. Why we all know you guys are a dime a dozen and can be replaced at the mere drop of a hat.
Besides....riding to work in an up-armored vehicle would only be admitting we are afraid of the gunmen and that just wouldn't do.
Instead of Kevlar curtains....kevlar diapers (Defendz if you will) would have been a better investment as even Nigerian gunmen know bullets would bounce off pilot's heads.
