DC 13H with earplugs is the way to go.

The less parts, the better.
I've got a DC 13HXL. Really nice, but flying for flying 8 hours a day, ANR using batteries is not practical. It is however a excellent passive headset.
I found them to be better value for fixed-wing.
Bose X is the best noise cancelling.
