What we are talking about here is surely protectionism in the work place. Parallels may be drawn between BALPA and BA or working within a trade union without a trade union membership card. Such protectionism is inherent within the labour force policies and politics of any socialist based democracy, or pseudo-democracy for that matter.
Therefore, in such a state system, any form of segregation which seeks to champion the interests of any minority group must surely be applauded as such actions, reflective of minority advancement, stand as one of the foundation stones of all the great democracies of the past, from ancient Greece,and the United States to that paragon of 21st century democracy, The United Kingdom, where minority rights are so frequently brought to the fore, as may be seen in the advancement of immigrant groups, so often even to the detriment of the natural citizens of that country.
