There's now't there,now't to do,so no one goes, to be fair its under rated and worth a visit
True, GCI has never been popular really, Mainly due to what has already being said.
I Read somewhere years ago that GCI & JER do not like to attract Loco carriers, As that the Channel Islands would feel as thou they are losing their refined status, And looking cheap.
I remember BD doing very well on their JER flights back in the 80's/90's On a SAT there was 3 flights a day sometimes more with DC9/F100.
AUG seems to do well on it's MAN - GCI thou 3X Daily with ATR72.
It would be good to see more Channel Islands flights, But traditionally the Islands have always apealed to the 'well off'
