team up with another inexperienced PPL
That's what I've done and I think it's great (Ok, my mate is a CPL, but he was minimum hours and not a lot of experience overall)
that way you can't rely on each other since you are both just as bad as each other

I reckon the trick is to try to do every time something different: an overnight landaway, an overnight landaway
at night, multi-day trips, visiting different countries, landing at small fields, landing at big fields, mountain flying, flying a different aircraft, doing a long nav on a basic aeroplane (think VHF, map, compass and wristwatch. No DI, no OBI, no ADF... and no GPS of course

) In short, whatever seems like a bit of fun (but beware, if it seems like
a lot of fun it'll probably get you killed
