You might want to rephrase your question, as your average rigger would recommend the same tool they recommend for every job, namely a GS Screwdriver. Paint tin lid removal, paint stirring, PRC mixing, watch battery change, hitting things, quite a versatile little tool. One imagines it could easily get that tape off, but as for state of the helmet afterwards..........?
