Its a tad confusing. Like you I assume the testing first. They are very slow to get back to you (I suspect due to the volume of applicants). I have heard that the next intake is May/June.

Its a good idea to get your class 1 medical out of the way too. Nothing would be worse than to get through then find out you can't get the class 1 medical certificate.
