I for one have opted for the americanized spell checker, as the English Oxford Dictionary has recently succumbed to our cousins demands. As for expletives, the use of colorful language is an addition to the English language and used in the correct way can have a very strong influence.
However, being from Wales I would expect you'll understand when I say "dwi'n flin bod ti wedi cymerud shwt gymaint o haint o'r neges diwethaf, dwi'n umddiheirio"
By the way, the RAF have moved on considerably in the last 20 years. They even allow Officers to wear jeans in the mess now!!!
