Been told that the touchdown was just shy of 4G which is rather impressive.
Apparently the Swiss technique for landing the RJ is to select flight idle at 50 ft and then progressively flare. If that is true then they always carry extra speed on the approach or they like to live life on the edge!
That is how you land a heavy jet and not a 146/RJ!!!
