A good little app that I use is Start Up Control Panel
http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml This app shows all programs set to run at start up in the registry eg. HKCU/Run, HKLM/Run, Run Once and allows you to disable or even delete entries much safer than going into the registry directly.
