The Masterplan (to which Bridgepoint are not bound) identified a site betwixt the 32 and old 28 thresholds for the new fuel farm. I suspect this would remain the preferred location.
With respect to taxiways I thought this bit interesting (from the masterplan):
If aircraft movements
were to increase beyond around 20 aircraft per hour, then a parallel taxiway
would be required. It is likely therefore that a parallel taxiway to runway
32 would be needed around 2010.
Now, assuming the analysis behind this is accurate then this (onerous) provision is imperative.
