There is no way you can compare Belfast to London/Paris etc. If we were to put it into proportion BFS would be like Stansted or Luton to London City.
I think it’s a complete joke nothing is being done about this. Hopefully Easyjet and Aer Lingus can put a bit of pressure on the authorities to do something. It wouldn’t just be beneficial to the people in Belfast but people living all over the province who otherwise would have drive to the airport useless they wanted to sit for hours on a buse…
At the moment BHD would be my main choice because it is well connected by transportation (bus, train etc). I am eagerly waiting European routes out of BHD pending the runway extension because I might as well go to Dublin the amount it costs and time it takes to get BFS on the bus…
