Mr Harfield is no more responsible for the current staff shortages than anyone else in the ATC [
note ATC, not general] management line.
Jason was a line controller when some of the decisions wre taken that have lead to the current staffing crisis. Several [note
several] EBAs have been negotiated by a certain management hit team [all 4 of whom are no longer employees of AsA] aimed at paring staff levels to the bone -
NOT to get individual bonuses, but to meet the requirements stated by CEO[s] and Board members.
Don't blame Jason - and certainly don't get personal and involve his wife - blame policy established when a certain ex-gas industry manager joined the organisation back in 1998.
