Viking, I think those few beers after Late nr 5 have clouded your judgement
This means that the F/O:s on the 737 and ready for their CMD still has to wait for their turn because of the A319 pilots (that volonteerly went to the Airbus first)
Command offers are based on CPI date and positions available. If you haven't got a Boeing rating then you can't get a command on the Boeing and vice versa.
Most people changed to Airbus because their base changed fleet, not to ruin your chance of command.
I know the command process is far from perfect, but I don't think your arguments are valid.
