A question for any IR examiners out there.
In the aero club bar last night and a debate started about IR renewals. As there wasn't any IR/I's or IR/E's about, nobody could give a definite answer to the following question ,so any help would be appreciated as there is a barrel of beer in it for me if I can get the answer before anyone else.
If someone who holds a ME/IR does an IR renewal on a single engine aeroplane, what is needed, if he or she then wants to upgrade to a ME/IR again. The general concenus was that it would just be an asymetric ILS with a circle to land as everything else would have been covered. Bearing in mind that the ME rating is current. I wasn't so sure.....
I hope the question is clear enough and any help would greatly improve by beer intake for the next few weeks. Thanks
