So this new directive will kill off flights in passenger aircraft built before what date - 1960's?
Am I right in thinking that for some of these venerable old machines money earned from passenger flights is a major source of income to help keep them in an airworthy condition? It seems that the EU will ground a number of aircraft.
Will air displays be affected also?
