"EU rules threaten DC-3 passengers
January 30, 2008

When new European EU-OPS regulations come into force on July 16, it is anticipated that Douglas DC-3 public transport pleasure flights will become a thing of the past. EU-OPS requires all aircraft operated on Commercial Air Transport flights, regardless of age or historic value, to comply with requirements including lockable flightdeck doors and escape slides.

This is just a taster - see March's Aeroplane magazine for the full story and pictures."
