Class 2 Medical Fees
Money for old rope - if you are an approved Medical Examiner. But you have to be a member of that elite club to charge those exorbitant fees.
Surely one's own GP would be a better person to do this medical? Especially as they have access to all of your medical records and nearly all of them now have access to quality ECG machines.
My GP (in France) is an approved Aviation Medical Examiner and only charges 30€ for a Class 2 Medical Exam (unfortunately no longer acceptable by CAA, for whatever reason).
