Yes and yes. The first A380 is due to arrive in about August, so there will need to be some crew employed to operate that aircraft before it arrives. July classes maybe?? Exactly how many crew are needed to fly the first couple of A380s, I don't know. I'd imagine somewhere around 100-180? Pegasus?
A380 crew will ONLY fly on the A380. All other longhaul crew will fly on all the other aircraft types (currently 747, 767 and A330, but later will include international 787s, etc). It
may be possible to transfer between A380 flying and "other longhaul" flying, but I don't believe any of the details for this have been worked out, yet.
