Clearly you have an axe to grind ("knowing the airforce") Suggestion is that the A109LUH cockpit (MFD's, FMS, 4 axis AP) alone justifies the selection as a lead-in trainer for NH90 simply for the potential saving of training hours on the larger airframe. As a tax payer I can appreciate that. Press releases did not seem to suggest the A109E was ever in contention with the Kiwis, I think it was between the EC635 and A109LUH. So it seems disingenuous to the say they chose 109's because Oz did?
