Thumbs down Trouble in Scotland

Word on the runway is that Tayflite’s two excellent CPL ME/IR instructors are both off to the airlines. (I say excellent ‘cos I’ve been taught by them).

Added to the fact that Tayside cannot find any instructors to get their highly publicised and expensive move into commercial instruction off the ground, is this the beginning of the end of commercial instruction in Scotland?

Indeed, is the shortage of experienced commercial instructors going to leave only the integrated schools able to afford career instructors who are not prepared to work for less than they can get from the airlines?

Good luck L & S!! Can we assume that the flight deck will authorise a couple of free cans for ex students?
