You w'ont incur my wrath with your comment.I do not have any rose tinted glasses, but I have watched the airport grow over the last 60 years.It is my local airport and I am proud of it despite its many limitations. I know what is required to improve it apart from levelling the Chevin.Unfortunately I do not have the sort of money required to make the improvements,that hopefully will be left to Bridgeport.
Your last point may well be true.Jet2 is only a little fish in the sea and they are a lot of big sharks out there ready to eat them up.If there is to be further consolidation out there then maybe Jet2 should be the one doing it.The turbulance in the financial markets at this time would be problematic in finding the financial resources required should a opportunity arise.
Now that I have reread my posts is there anybody who has a pair of rose tinted glasses they could lend me.
