The board of TUI Travel Plc have announced yesterday that all the B737-300 and B737-500's will be phased out and they will not be continuing with loss making entities: Thomsonfly scheduled operation made a £27m loss so I think it's fair to assume that the scheduled operation at Bournemouth, Coventry and Doncaster will be closed down.
Difficult times and peoples livelihoods at risk so important not to throw idle speculation around...
Just my own opinion, but I would expect CVT to close due to it's proximity to BHX but the possibilty to sell charter flights from BOH and DCS will still exist. FCH do have a % of seats out of DCS this S08 on TOM flights but whether enough for a dedicated based aircraft in S09, who knows time will tell - a "W" pattern possibly...???
