I don't think Aer Lingus will be panicking just yet and I think the article in the Bel Tel which paints such a poor picture of the Aer Lingus numbers is very poor itself. Using Ryanair to verify the numbers on the BFS - LHR as they weren't available from the CAA is hardly a reliable source.
Other interesting articles today include Mr Ambrose saying they want a runway extension but no change in the hours and Mr Turner bmi, saying what they need at city is a change in the hours. Listen guys, why not get your
pr people and their
pr people together and get your stories straight, it will make the process with the planners, for whatever changes you have in mind, much easier if you can a least act like you're on the same side.
