Noting all the posts you guys have put up in favour of a RYR base at LBA. But surely there would be a very serious downside ?
LS are not in the strongest position at present, poor financials, talk on many threads about route cut backs at various airports. Even suggestions that LS to move more into IT than ito developing other Loco routes & seeming to be looking at what resource they may have available to move into limited longhaul. With this sort of scenario, then facing serious competition at LBA from RYR, who would surely look at all routes & not just new ones, then adding in the final factor that perhaps there is unlikely to be significant growth in the UK for the next 12 months at least.
Seems to me that LS would have some serious problems....
