i havent heard any 737 F/o`s talking about being more qualified.
But in the world of aviation i guess there is some truth to it in some odd way..... moneywise that is.
U got ur fokker 50 rating allready, and is bonded because of that.
Why should they give a fokker50 pilot another rating before their bonding is done ?? And on top on that they have to pay a new fokker50 rating to the next guy.
Theres loads of typerated 737 pilots, which doesnt cost the company as much, to fill out the empty seats.
