SD2 Operating Costs
The following cost breakdown is based on 2007 pricing. Depending on the operation your cycles for operational hour will vary. Honeywell Service Bulletin LT 101-71-00-0002 give you two methods for counting cycles, Method I and Method II. Method II will get the most out of the engine but is too difficult to count manually. Method I can be used easily with a little practice. Soloy offers the AKV cycle counter for about $3,500 that uses Method II to keep track of the cycles.
