Last year, starting salary, syd pax was 118000 aud. This year,same job 92000 aud. If you feel your worth 26000 less than the guy who started last month, go for it. If you think this is completely unreasonable, hold off and they will be forced to correct this smear on our profession. This is a good heads up to the contempt cx hold for it's flight crew. They have been dining on a free lunch for too long on legends of the "a" scale days. This has not been "the place to work" since 1993. A qf so doing mainly LA on the 400 gets paid more than a 10 year cx australian based fo (old B scale)who be away from home more nights. CX have dropped the ball in a huge fashion. Hopefully this gets you thinking. And reread ACMS's last post, it sums this joint up.
