The CAA are not keen on stewdents with big balls - they tend to take too many risks with aeronautical hardware. Apparently Hannah Reitsch slipped through this net and look what happened - she 'manned' the V1, fixing its difficult gyro issue - little coincidence that Gatwick is close to Purley, the most targeted area by deceived V1 controllers. That took balls the diameter of a Chinook's discs!
This could be why female pilots are preferred for safety issues; they empathise with aircraft rather than bully them.
