I was SLF flying into EGNT this evening. I wish I had timed how long it took from the coast to the threshold rwy25. It seemed ages and I ain't joking, we weren't travelling much faster that the cars below.
I tried to calculate the ground speed for the last couple of miles and I recon it was around 90kts (Avro RJ85) - wind was straight on the nose which made is a pretty much normal landing.
