I hope he's stupid enough to be a tight @rse, and then suffer the backlash as the voters turn against him.
Unfortunately the next bout of 'democracy' won't happen for at least two years and I'm afraid the Great British voter (a seperate species to the Great British citizen, related to 'the man in the street', prone to being hypnotised by spin doctors and easily distracted by shiny promises or big headlines) has an attention/memory span rather shorter than a retarded goldfish.
