Actual block hours are the time you spend with your butt in the seat - this governs your Flight Time Limitations stuff: 100 hrs/28 days or 900/year, increasable to 1000/year at company's discretion.
that being said lets say you do a ulh to iah and back total 32 hrs..
your butt in seat 12hrs.. only 12 hrs count towards flight time/legal limitations so they can still fly you 89 more hrs for the month? and if so i guess your flight pay would be 12 not 32hrs?
but the 32 hrs would count towards basic pay and when you hit overtime correct?
i hope i am not confusing you as much as i am myself
