A BA286 747-400 also on the ground yesterday from San Fransisco for a fuel and go, but only 213+1 on board. This was due to the incident at Heathrow as LHR re-opened as it was on finals to CWL. Luckily for us it was the only BA longhaul to divert.
The Virgin 747 arrived before the incident.
Airport Website
I don't know if anybody else has noticed but for once, the airport seems up to date with events that are happening on it's website.
- They are advertising the jobs fare,
- have 2 competitions
- advertising the latest flybe route
- announced it's 5% increase in passengers for 2007
- and announced the Aer Arann 1,000,000 seat sale.
It's nice to see the website being up to date instead of 3 days begind other announcements. Is this a start of a new trend due to new management or is it just a one off?
