Prehaps the mods aren't closing the threads because most of what's being said is true, like it or not. Anyone going to Nigeria should be aware of the situation.

On Transparency Internationals corruption index Nigeria is always in the last few places. Any upward movement in the index is not necessarily an improvement, it may mean other countries have simply got worse and undercut Nigeria.
Sure other countries have problems, there have been recent threads mentioning the Congo and corrupt officials. Columbia is kidnap capital of the world, Russia is well represented in internet fraud, Burma is a major drugs producer. But you chaps seem to have it all, and in large amounts.
By all means if anyone has similar stories to those regarding Nigeria, in different countries please tell them.
