I agree with Clear P, GgW, that was a bit of a silly thing to say. Its like the radio in
this country, it is something you develop an ear for. Believe me when you are going into Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ATC are not the easiest of people to understand, even for the most experienced pilot!
Dont let this put you off mate, as has been mentioned, looks like you had a bad experience. I used to let the sudent on a trial lesson have as much hands on experience as possible, at the end of the day, thats what they have come to do!
