I have a big, shiny, Breitling Aviator type watch, worth well over a grand, given to me as a gift about four years ago. I wore it for about a fortnight and now it lives in my sock drawer.
I went back to wearing my own little Citizen Ecodrive Titanium, which cost £99 in a shop sale. Far more tasteful. It doesn't pull threads on my sleeve and anyway it makes my d**k look bigger. Only problem is, it always sets off the airport security alarms. So does the watch.
