Actually when I joined, a guy on my Indoc who was already type rated wa given a full (re) type rating but got bonded for 12 months and for the price of a reccurrent.
But some others have had to go for a full 2 years bond... My advice would be to make sure you sign only with what you agree with or to stay at least 24 months (which goes quite quickly after a certain age
).
