Lbia - Here To Stay

rainboe,

you are definitely one or more of the following;

1, ANTI AVIATIONIST
2, COMPETITOR AIRPORT SUPPORTER
3, EX EMPLOYEE WITH CHIP ON SHOULDER
4, LOCAL RESIDENT (anti noise/expansion)

I cannot see why someone from Hants would keep up this tirade against the LBA. Your disrespectful and incredibly uneducated comments show how ignorant you are to aviation law. Have a good read about the Brazilian disaster and then come back on here and apologize. Operations from the LBA are carried out within binding parameters that are always adhered to. If and when something does go wrong margins are in place to prevent fatality (just like at any other airport). This being England LBA is one of the safest airports in the world. Of course, humans being humans, disasters will always happen for a multitude of reasons. Remember this though : AIR TRAVEL IS THE SAFEST FORM OF TRAVEL.

In my opinion you are deliberately scaremongering on this site in the hope that your comments get picked up by jurnos etc and fed to potential passengers. Forget it. Let me assure those reading your comments that you do it from a position of ignorance. The airport and its new insightful owners will overcome the issues you love to moan about to provide a more than adequate airport for the region. Destinations continue to grow despite the plethora of competitor airports in the region.

Everyone knows your views by now so please think of some other place to have a worry / moan about because LBIA is here to stay and will give the people of Yorkshire an airport to be proud of.
